The Sikhulekile was established in 2003 as an amalgamation of six clubs from different villages in the area; the concerned clubs being: Zimisele club, Jamail club, Nokwetja top club, Ndulini club, Nkoneni top club and Nokwetja women's club.
We are currently working in eight villages and our plan is to create a job safety net to complement the seasonal jobs from the agricultural sector which we rely on.
Our region is deeply rural, with high unemployment and HIV/AIDS rates.
We have since been able to implement sowing project, arts and crafts projects, poultry project in three villages, piggery project and food parcels project for child headed families.
Through funds raised to date, we have managed to erect an office and point of sale for our crafts and agriculture produce but are struggling to secure big contracts due to our lack of capacity.

We are committed to the alleviation of poverty and crime through the establishment and encouragement of income generating projects in the community.
Achievements
We started distributing food parcels to 15 families for 12 months and showed a profit.
